No hops were harmed in the making of this IPA. Using horehound for bittering, elderberry for flavour and aroma, and a tiny bit of honey for residual sweetness.
The first thing that hits you is the aroma of elderberry, and if you didn’t know better, you might even think this was a sour. But once it hits your lips and fills your mouth, the body fills out and the bitterness from the horehound rounds out the palate.
